Positive Continued Local Growth

Following more than 15 years of sustained growth, Burton Road-based Deaf Alerter plc is expanding and relocating its operations division to impressive new modern facilities on Derby's Pride Park.

Despite a fairly static economy within the Fire Alarm industry Deaf Alerter plc has experienced significant success and has become the market-leading fire alarm warning and integrated messaging system provider for Deaf and hard of hearing people in the UK.

The move provides the company with space for further expansion and is a direct result of a larger strategic expansion plan, driven by the launch of a new and innovative wireless radio-based refuge system, demand for which is set to match if not surpass demand of the Deaf Alerter® system.

Steve Haseldine, Managing Director, remarked: "The move is a cornerstone of fulfilling our vision of improved strategic development; by enabling us to expand our product portfolio it will make us a more diverse and dynamic company. We have made a significant investment in the new operations unit and will be updating our systems and processes to allow us to facilitate the expansion of our UK operations. We are confident that these new premises will serve all our employees', partners' and customers' needs as the company moves forwards. This is just the foundation of our expansion plan; we envisage opening similar operations units in London and Scotland next year."

2007 is anticipated to be an exciting year for Deaf Alerter plc and as a result there are numerous excellent new career opportunities available for the right people to actively contribute to the organisation and development of the business.
